5 Crazy Ass Must Read Stars!!!!!

So not what I expected! And that's not a bad thing. I tend to have favorite authors that are just automatic for me. Penelope and Vi are automatics. I don't bother to read the blurbs. I just see their names and I'm signing up right away. Sometimes that can come back to bite me but that wasn't the case with Mister Moneybags.
I went it thinking it was going to be your typical CEO/insecure young girl. So not the case. Right from the start the story veered into a direction that I had not anticipated and I just love when a story can take me on that unexpected journey.
As I said above when I see the names Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland attached to any book, there is no hesitation on my part to signing up to be part of a tour. They have become my number 1 duo when it comes to collaborations. They write so well together and their writing styles blend so well that you don't know who wrote what. I look forward to reading what they come up with next and hope they continue their partnership forever.

When you open up a book by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward, you know you're in for two things (1) a Hot Romance and (2) a Hot Hero.

Which brings me to Dexter Truitt.

Oh, faithful readers. He might just be my favorite Keeland-Ward hero. For one thing, he's determined and focused and knows what he wants. For another, he is a man who, when he loves, loves deeply and wholly. All of that determination and focus? Imagine it turned on YOU.

Yeah. I should have warned you you'll need to strap on your vibrators before going into this book.

Dex meets Bianca in a rather cute way trapped in an elevator that goes on the fritz. With the lights out, they get to know each other without knowing what the other person looks like. Dex learns quickly learns that Bianca, who was on her way to interview him, already despises him. He just as quickly decides that he can't have that. So he pretends to be a bike messenger named Jay.

Some of the funniest moments in this book occur when Dex decides he hates Jay. It sort of gives another layer of meaning to "self-loathing."

What I found interesting about this book is that Keeland and Ward went in an unexpected direction. At one point I thought, "Oh, great. Bianca will discover that Jay is really Dex and they'll break up and I'll have to go through pages and pages till they get back together again."

But no. That is not what happens. And this, faithful readers, is why Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward are so good at what they do. They take the predictable and make it decidedly unpredictable.

There are some wonderful, heartfelt moments in this book. It has a long, slow burn, and, in the time you're kept waiting (and wanting), Keeland and Ward develop the relationship between their characters. You get to know them better and more thoroughly, which makes the conflict they face that much more dramatic. Never fear, though Keeland and Ward deliver quiver, even if they keep you waiting for it.

Dex learns, as do you, that while he may be Mr. Moneybags, there are some things money can't buy. Tops on that list is family. Your family is your family. No matter how prolific your bank account may be, all of that money can't erase your family from your life.

It's an unexpected message in a pretty fantastic book.
These two ladies never disappoint. When I see a new release from them, I can't wait to read it and have yet to be let down. This book was hysterical as well as an emotional rollercoaster. I absolutely loved Dex and Bianca. The two of them were great protagonists and their chemistry was off the charts. I can't wait for another book by these two!
When Penelope and Vi release a new book, all becomes right in the world, for me. After having gone through a TERRIBLE book slump, this book brought my reading mojo right back to life! I couldn't put it down and I was instantly reminded why I love reading. I was totally sucked into the story. I laughed, I swooned, I was shocked, I was sad, then I swooned again. I LOVED these characters. Absolutely freaking adored them!!! Bianca and Dex explosive chemistry! The heat is INTENSE between them and the anticipation almost killed me!
I've been a lover of the Cocky Bastard series since the very first one and Graham from Stuck Up Suit had stolen my heart and I didn't think he could he topped. I never expected to fall so hard for Dex so quickly and he knocked Graham off of his pedestal as my favorite cocky Bastard. They're all so different, but, there is something I can't explain, and won't, so you can experience for yourselves, that I absolutely loved about Sex. loyal, devoted and so HOT I could hardly take it! Bianca was everything I loved in a heroine. So spicy and quick witted, she wasn't intimidated by anyone, even a man of Dex's stature and money. She was Dex's perfect counterpart and I loved every single moment I had with them! The story is incredibly unique, and my heart just exploded with love for the amazing writing, loveable and sexy characters and the plot that I never saw coming! Vi and Penelope never disappoint! They always AMAZE!!!
